With printmaking you can tell the time passing and the changes it imposes on things. I’m interested in the process of visual memory and the inevitable selection and distortion of images that act in the brain, that begins from the generation of allusions and similarities, until you get to that impulse tending to abstraction.
Many of my works are developed from the encounter between the media and the subject. The link with reality develops in ever new forms, often investigating the theme of allussion, the indirect reference, reusing images and styles linked to the collective imagination. Any realistic pretext to create images is frayed to become thin and ambiguos. The result is an open question to the observer.
I am attracted by the deviation of the encoded forms of expression, I find easier to situate somewhere between two-dimensional and installation, between photography and engraving, or printing and performace, aware that in the intermedia language is situated the way to tell the world.

Con la tecnica della stampa si possono raccontare lo scorrere del tempo e i cambiamenti che esso impone alle cose. Sono interessata al processo della memoria visiva e all’inevitabile selezione e distorsione delle immagini che ha atto nella mente, alla generazione di allusioni e similitudini, fino ad arrivare a quella spinta che tende all’astrazione.
Molti dei miei lavori si sviluppano a partire dall’incontro tra il mezzo espressivo, e il soggetto.
Il legame con la realtà si sviluppa in forme sempre nuove, indagando spesso il tema dell’allusione, del riferimento indiretto, riutilizzando immagini e stili legati all’immaginario collettivo. Ogni pretesto realistico per creare delle immagini viene sfilacciato fino a divenire sottile e ambiguo.Il risultato è una domanda aperta all’osservatore.
Sono attirata dallo sconfinamento tra le forme espressive codificate, trovo agevole il situarmi a metà strada tra la bidimensionalità e l’installazione, tra la fotografia e l’incisione, tra la stampa e la performance, consapevole che nella intermedialità si situa il linguaggio per raccontare il mondo.
